What a surprise! SPINE, from Nekki, released a new, very interesting, action packed, trailer at gamescom, and I’m impressed, to say the least!
The last time I talked about SPINE was back in March of 2024, where I was just finding out about the game. They even liked my blog post, at the time, which was cool!
I got to say, it looks like Nekki has definitely been working these past two years. The main character Redline has gone even more Gun Fu crazy than last time, so much so that they even slipped in not one, but two references to John Wick from Chapter 2 and Chapter 4, with the latter apparently going viral.
Bullets and hands just kept flying in the last half of the trailer that the bubble gum pop even sounded like a bullet.
It seems Redline has officially become the female John Wick of the gaming world, or the original Ballerina, Eve Macarro, I should say since she predated that movie LOL!
Anyways, SPINE is set to release next year, Summer 2027.
