One Piece Odyssey is not FUN and was WASTING my time

Coming off of my very short stint with Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, the next game in line to try was One Piece Odyssey and after completing Chapter One, almost four hours into the game, I’m already dead tired, the endless enemy encounters have sunken me faster than the Sunny…

I thought I’d enjoy the turn-based game as I’ve seen various reviewers praising the combat system, but I’m going to tell you the truth, it sucks… which is crazy because I’ve played the entire trilogy of Final Fantasy XIII, multiple times, and consider it to be some of the best turn-based games of all time.

But Kio you’ve recently played Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls and loved it, doesn’t that consist of many matches? This is true, but something is just fundamentally different, like even with One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 the multiple shields system the boss enemies had was honestly ridiculous and even though I beat the entire game, it felt like I wasted so much time and that’s how I’m feeling with One Piece Odyssey, slow as dirt, just wasting time, it’s just not fun like other games I’ve mentioned…
