I just FINISHED the Resident Evil 4 Remake

Resident Evil 4
Leon & Ashley – Resident Evil 4 (Chapter 16) (August 30, 2026)

I just finished the Resident Evil 4 Remake and the Separate Ways DLC and I 100% stand by what I said in my last blog post, 10/10!

My favorite scenes from the main game were when Leon and Ashely was struggling with the parasite stopping their movements, it just seemed so intense, happened at the worst times, and you’re on the other side of the screen just praying for them to somehow fight back and move!

Also, I actually did all of the Merchant’s Missions and got all the Treasures, except for one, can you believe that? I’m crying right now…

With that being said, I normally hate backtracking in games, in recent memory, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a major offender of this, but I have to say Resident Evil 4 does backtracking right, because it never feels like backtracking, I have no idea how Capcom cast this unheard of magic, but it just works.

Resident Evil 4
Ada Wong – Resident Evil 4 – Separate Ways (Chapter 6) (August 30, 2026)

In the Separate Ways DLC, my favorite scene is when Ada comes across a long hallway in the Lab, a hallway that seemed very familiar. I was like is this…? YES, it definitely was! A callback to the very first Resident Evil movie from 2002, that was just absolutely wild.

I also played the Mercenaries mode, which is just a fun chaotic way to test out weapons and play around with other characters.

Have you finished playing Resident Evil 4 too? Let me know your thoughts down below!
