Warner Robins Operation Reawaken set to surpass 53,000 square feet of commercial demolitions this coming Wednesday

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (Ghost Studios) – Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick is not stopping as the dream for a downtown area that rivals Macon continues gaining traction with four more buildings set to be demolished as a part of Operation Reawaken.

The commercial buildings are located on North Davis Drive and according to a press release from the city, it will be the largest demolition to date, totaling approximately 19,340 square feet, pushing the total since the start of the project to 53,000 square feet.

“Reaching this milestone reflects the progress we are making to prepare our downtown for new businesses, new investment, and new possibilities,” said Mayor Patrick. “Every step we take brings us closer to a downtown that serves as a destination for residents, visitors, and entrepreneurs while honoring our community’s vision for continued growth.”

The community has been invited to attend the Demolition Ceremony taking place on Wednesday, August 19th at 10 a.m. on 104 North Davis Drive to celebrate the new milestone achievement.
