I’ve never seen people so scared when they see a single Snorunt enter the playing field in Pokémon TCG Live that they immediately try to get rid of all the cards in their hand.
The Water Pokémon, once evolved into Mega Froslass ex, from Pokémon Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes, Resentful Refrain, which increases damage based off the amount of cards in your opponent’s hand, that could be catastrophic, combined with Absolute Snow, which inflicts sleep, all of a sudden a major wrench was thrown into your opponent’s strategy as they just try to survive the turns.

So focused on Froslass, they forget about another dangerous card, Mega Starmie ex, from Pokémon Mega Evolution—Perfect Order. While they try to run to the bench, Jetting Blow still has them, assuming they didn’t make a critical mistake and also forgot about the over 200 damage Nebula Beam.
Froslass and Starmie are just broken on their own, with a low one energy cost to use their first attacks, but two more cards sets the foundation for a powerhouse of a combo.

Surfing Beach, from Pokémon Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising, allows you to switch the two out with no retreat cost!

If that wasn’t enough, Misty’s Vitality, from Pokémon Mega Evolution—Pitch Black, lets you attach four energy cards from your deck, opening up all their moves in just one turn, though you can’t attack the turn you play it, so you have to be strategic.
