I finally got my FIRST ever 3… I mean 2, graded cards back from PSA

Dark Magician (SDY-006) - N8 MISCUT, Blue-Eyes White Dragon (SDK-001) - PSA NEAR MINT 7, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (JMP-EN005) - PSA POOR 1 (August 8, 2026)
Dark Magician (SDY-006) – N8 MISCUT, Blue-Eyes White Dragon (SDK-001) – PSA NEAR MINT 7, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (JMP-EN005) – PSA POOR 1 (August 8, 2026)

Oh my goodness, it’s been almost a year, so much has happened, but we are finally back! Yes, Ghost Studios is BACK online and here to stay this time! We got a lot to catch up on and discuss, but we’ll take our time!

For the first story of the year, in August LOL, I decided to send 3… I mean 2 of my Yu-Gi-Oh! cards to PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) to get graded for the first time ever.

  1. Dark Magician (SDY-006)
  2. Blue-Eyes White Dragon (SDK-001)
  3. Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (JMP-EN005)

What were the Grades and did I make or lose any money or just decide to keep them?

Dark Magician (SDY-006) - N8 MISCUT - Back
Dark Magician (SDY-006) – N8 MISCUT – Back

So for the first card, Dark Magician (SDY-006), estimated to be $2200 at a PSA 10 was deemed a N8: MISCUT and I was refunded because they couldn’t grade it. So I was like what in the world is a N8: MISCUT and apparently it’s an abnormal factory cut, considering I pulled it fresh out of a pack in my high school years.

The second card, Blue-Eyes White Dragon (SDK-001), estimated to be $5600 at a PSA 10 came back a PSA NEAR MINT 7, understandable.

Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (JMP-EN005) - PSA POOR 1 - Front
Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (JMP-EN005) – PSA POOR 1 – Front
Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (JMP-EN005) - PSA POOR 1 - Back
Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (JMP-EN005) – PSA POOR 1 – Back

For the third card, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (JMP-EN005), estimated to be $1000 at a PSA 10 came back a PSA POOR 1, a Pop 17 LOL.

I sent the cards off April 18, 2026 and didn’t get them back til July 13, 2026 and between that time PSA has seen so much controversy…

Anyways, so with grading and shipping fees I spent a total of $92.11, at the moment Blue-Eyes White Dragon is estimated to be worth $133 and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is estimated to be $55.00 for a total of $188.00. So, if I sell them at that price it’d be a $95.89 profit, but my heart can’t bear to part with my childhood GOAT’s so I listed them for $1000 each on eBay, they’ll never sell, hahaha!

So with that being said, I sent 10 Pokémon Cards off to TAG (Technical Authentication & Grading), stay tuned for what may happen next!
