The last time I spoke about Grand Theft Auto VI was back in 2025 after the game was delayed for yet another year… Well here we are, just three months left til release and we finally got An Extended Look and I have to say I’m not as impressed as I originally was. I’ve mentioned my excitement waned before in another blog post, so much so that I didn’t even cover the recent leaks as another game interested me more at the time.
Anyways, after watching the near 27 minute video, the entire time I was like, this looks just like Grand Theft Auto V. Maybe I’m just getting old? Okay yeah, the story seems a tad interesting, you got some updated graphics, allegedly, but it’s not enough to make me go drop a $1000 for a PlayStation 5 Pro, plus another $100 for the game and that’s saying something, because the only reason I bought a PS4 years ago was for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.
Also, the game is not going to launch on PC, for who knows how long, which is honestly criminal and based off this Extended Look alone, GTA VI is probably going to flop, nothing really caught my eye, other than Lucia’s assets, which seemed to be somewhat of a focal point, but if that’s all they are offering Rockstar is going to be in deep trouble.
13 years they’ve been developing this game, they say, I’m just not seeing it, I feel like GTA VI has been over hyped and I’ve been slowly let down each time they release something new about the game…
