Other than the Special Illustration Rare just being an awesome looking card worth over $2000 at a PSA 10 at the moment could Mega Darkrai ex from Pokémon’s recent set, Mega Evolution—Pitch Black, secretly have potential or nearing the verge of potentially broken?
I’ve recently been playing Ranked, Pikachu – Quick League, with Darkrai in Pokémon TCG Live, mainly just losing so far, but I’ve come so close to winning quite a few times!
Zarude’s Overhead Throw, which does 30 damage to the bench, combined with Darkrai’s Dusk Raid, which doubles his attack, seems to be an easy combination, but it couldn’t quite pull the wins, but for Darkrai’s Abyss Eye, which is a one hit knockout, I noticed a secret Item/Trainer card that escaped my sights, Dark Bell, which causes confusion to non-darkness Pokémon, allowing Abyss Eye to be easily used in tough situations.
Even with that I still keep losing especially to Mega Zeraora ex, who seems even more broken, before I even have time to set up good, but I did managed to beat my friend Meiji once so far, who was running Mega Zygarde ex, from Perfect Order, which gives me faint hope, so I guess I’ll have to keep adjusting the deck of Darkness and see where it leads.
