While Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has piqued my interest, I got a little worried when they released their Support 101 trailer last week, having nightmares of the game being tag based, but apparently it’s more along the lines of a variation system similar to Mortal Kombat 11.
Just last night Gameplay Group International released another trailer, Aang’s Specials & Flow Showcase, and it seems this fighting game has more to it than anyone has thought so far, it definitely seems like they are going down the Arc System Works route.
My only issue with games of this nature is the controls never line up with the actual controller buttons you use which is so confusing. You have to memorize not one, but two control schemes, like the world is a C button? Are we on the Nintendo 64? It’s honestly ridiculous and just some sad attempt to bring the community together, but I wish they’d just stop using that excuse…
Anyways, with that being said the game is looking very good and the Closed Alpha Playtest will be December 5th-7th, so we’ll find out what Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is all about then!
