A new Animal Crossing is probably in the works!
The last main line game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, was released three years after the release of the original Nintendo Switch and also was when I finally bought one myself because I needed the Animal Crossing Edition.
It honestly was a near masterpiece…
The only and definitely major issue I had with New Horizons was the fact you had to craft every single thing individually. In the grand scheme of things this sounds trivial at first, but because all your tools break after a few uses, you are constantly crafting.
For example, if I wanted to make three shovels, well, I’d have to press the A button and tap it to go faster every single time because crafting is extremely slow with all the animations, after a few times this definitely gets aggravating. I remember fans calling for the developers to update the game to add batch crafting, but they never did, that was 5 years ago now…
Hopefully this time around they’ll take fans’ pleas into account and also won’t take so long for development, but they probably will take longer as they are going to need time because after the millions they made the first time around it’s going to be bundled with another special edition I guarantee you.
