The control scheme is so outrageous, just icons, for both controller and keyboard, like what on Earth?

I originally played the game back in High School on the PlayStation 3, so why didn’t they just port the control scheme over for PC and why go through so much trouble to make an icon mess? Why destroy a legendary legacy for PC players? It makes no sense.
I’m not going to lie either, when I first saw the controls, I was immediately like no way I’m playing this, I do not have the time…
