Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections launches next week, so with this new game bringing some of the previous battles across the others together it’s time to list my top 3 boss battles!
#3: Inherited Eyes
Game: Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
Official Release: February 4, 2016
I’m not going to lie, there were only two battles in the series that I honestly liked to my core, but since I decided to do a top 3, like most people, I will put an honorary mention in position three that may surprise some of you.
Storm 4? You got to be talking about The “Final” Battle. You would be wrong because number three belongs to Inherited Eyes. It’s not really a boss battle though as the game classifies it as a Dramatic Battle.
It’s also no secret, but Storm 4 was a disappointment to me compared to Storm 3. Imagine you go out and buy a PS4 just because the next mainline Storm was going to be on it, but the story mode lets you down.
Out of all the battles in the game, this one honestly stood out the most.
#2: The Two Uchiha
Game: Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2
Official Release: October 15, 2010
To be truthful, this battle may have been the first time I ever came into contact with the series.
I was in 10th grade still rocking the PS2 when I came across a playthrough of the battle on YouTube. I was like, there was a Naruto game that looked like this! Shortly after, I would finally buy a PS3 and experience the full games in all their glory.
“Me, dead at your feet, eh?”
“Let’s get to it.” – Itachi Uchiha
This battle was insane especially with The Uchiha Hideout music playing at the beginning.
#1: Hero and Avenger
Game: Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3
Official Release: March 5, 2013
This battle is absolutely number one across all the games and spin off games, no question!
To give the battle the justice it deserved, I had no choice but to write a dedicated article a while back called, Hero and Avenger – The Best Boss Fight of all Time, which actually inspired me to write this current article.
I mentioned the battle in multiple articles, but I’ll say it once again for those who still haven’t experienced this masterpiece. Yes, this battle is an absolute masterpiece!
