Tekken Shop is UNFORTUNATELY on the way…

I have predicted an apocalyptic future… And… I called it!!!

Tekken 8 has been one of the best games released this year, no doubt about that, but now it’s time to sully that legacy because we have officially gone the Mortal Kombat 1 route.

Tekken Shop is unfortunately on the way… And they have been keeping it very low key. I had to really go searching for the livestream as they didn’t do it on the main Bandai channel as if they were expecting some type of backlash…

I may have been one of the first to uncover the secret as in my previous article, 2B has been officially released in Granblue, but could she also come to Tekken 8? I mentioned the update news listed in the game and the route that could be taken. It seems my fears were founded.

So, now you have to pay for the game, the season pass, and despite a customization system, you also have to break the bank for skins. I mean you don’t have to, but y’all get the point.

I’ve bought skins for games in the past like everyone else, it’s no secret, but lately my mind set has been shifting probably due to age, if it’s not a character, I’m not gone stress over it. I say that as I’m currently writing this article, the mission failed lol.

Anyway, I keep saying this, but they keep doing this stuff because all the studios are going bankrupt these days. Nobody has that kind of money anymore and to be honest I don’t know how stuff like this isn’t illegal.

Good point! I agree with you on that. I feel like that is why they do that in games to try and get there money back is to get us to spend more money within the game. For skins, characters and etc. I’ve done it in the past and still do it from time to time and it does get pricy at times. I really like your stand on how almost every game is turning into each other due to the company going broke and adding shops within the game and making players want to spend more money. Games are not like they use to be back in the day, but good work on your detective work and finding the info we needed!

    1. I can’t really blame anyone, we all have spent $1000s, but it’s different with a free to play game having a shop versus a paid game having one and don’t put that detective name on me lol. I’m just a regular guy with a few opinions.
