No choice, I had to DROP Ni no Kuni

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
Supreme Sage Solomon – Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (June 23, 2024)

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, seemed like a fun game to play, Steam had a sale and as any good gamer can’t resist a good deal I bought both the first and second games.

As I played through the first game, It actually seemed very good, but… I was tricked… Random encounters were everywhere, well they aren’t really random as you can see the creatures, but you run so slow they always catch you and you are yet again dragged into another and another and another battle.

Yes, I understand that’s the game mechanics and whatnot, but just let me run pass these monsters and get on with the story, which was actually good so far in my book, and my life. Just let me truly choose whether or not I want to fight these guys. Y’all don’t understand how much something like that upsets me.

After my terrible time with Forspoken, at least you can run past everything in that game, I decided to hop back into Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and then I got to the Temple of Trials where I proceeded to spend 20+ minutes trying to figure out the first puzzle of the Test of Wits before calling it quits and going to YouTube to only realize there were even more puzzles waiting for me after the first. I ran into this exact issue back in the day with HB: Senua’s Sacrifice… If I have to spend more time on YouTube than playing the actual game, combined with my already dwindling patience, it’s not worth it…

I deleted the game and can’t even bring myself to even try the second game Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom
