Money is literally being burnt right now… Naughty Dog and CD Projekt RED announced their first games since 2020, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and The Witcher IV.
While many should be jumping for joy, there is an elephant in the room and If no one else is going to say it, I will, these characters look ugly and straight up like men…
Let’s start with Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, apparently comments were turned off on Naughty Dog’s trailer and you really don’t even have to ask why to be honest… But props to them that at least they made a new IP instead of destroying the legacy of another, which is just insane that we have to hope for that these days.
Which leads me into a legacy being actually destroyed. Ciri has finally become a Witcher in The Witcher IV, but somehow… She’s gotten uglier, must be the mutagens right, like why? It’s crazy because for people that played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the first thing you notice is how she got downgraded, putting it nicely, like you can’t hide it.
What are these developers doing? They are not fooling anyone at this point. Why even go through the trouble of making a ‘female’ lead, when you ‘clearly’ wanted the main character to be a man? I don’t understand…
I guarantee when these games come out it’s going to be an absolute disaster on a scale we’ve never seen in history and gamers are going to be blamed for not buying the game and the studios shutting down, we’ve seen it time and time again.
