JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R CONTROLS are absolutely atrocious

So I’ve been playing JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, which I’ve had on the shelf for awhile now and it’s actually a fun fighting game!

But… There’s always a but…

The All-Star Battle mode which is considered like the campaign is literally Elden Ring level of difficulty.

All-Star Battle, Part 2 Battle Tendency, Extra Battle, Esidisi VS Mohammed Avdol, in particular, started to push me over the edge, it’s only a Three Star battle, but the second Secret Mission, Land the “I can’t take it anymore!” Skill, was an absolute nightmare to do.

First off, Esidisi’s skill in the move list is actually called, How could youuuuuu!, but that’s a whole different can of worms. I’m sure we’ve all seen this crazy crying move as the CPU spams it like crazy in other modes. You have to apparently roll the right stick and hit RB, but and a major but, RB is also the button for his Heat Control skill which according to the game can’t be activated to do How could youuuuuu! which is already hard enough as is with the stick roll and so the move just became completely random luck, because not only do you to have to deal with moves combating each other, you have to deal with the stupid controls and can never be press accurately and even worse Mohammed Avdol has to hit you so the move can activate, making this Secret Mission absolutely ridiculous…

Now what started this Elden Ring type journey was I was going after my favorite character Jolyne Cujoh outfits and colors, which are locked behind those Secret Missions, which is also stupid to me, anyways, Part 6 Stone Ocean, Boss Battle, Jolyne Cujoh VS Father Pucchi and also Father Pucchi (Final) was absolutely ridiculous to do all the Secret Missions because of his infinite blocking and health in the first battle and his infinite rushing combined with a 30 second timer in the second battle and combine all that with two rounds each makes it even more atrocious.

I wish we could just change the rounds to one, but nooo…

Anyways, I needed to get that off my chest, but in general as I said the game is really fun with all the characters to play with, but when you start playing the All-Star Battle mode it just makes you want to start pulling out your hair because you have to do certain complex moves that are definitely not player friendly.
