I saved the human child, but died in the process… – Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human
Connor & Emma – Detroit: Become Human (March 1, 2024)

Detroit: Become Human has, like most things, been on my list for a long while…

The game first released in 2018 and I’ve recently started playing it.

I’m instantly thrown right into a serious situation at the beginning of Detroit: Become Human, controlling the Android Connor.

As I was figuring out the game, I managed to get my probability of success to deescalate the serious situation to 99%, but right at the end I panicked at what Daniel, the deviant, said and thought self sacrifice would be the best option and well of course, to my surprise, I did not survive…

So, I saved the human child, but died in the process, losing the little sentience I gained from saving the fish at the beginning…

I tried to do things the right way, though the temptation for other options were there, but I should have known Quantic Dream had other plans for me, as they always do.

I’ve always wanted to play this game series! Is it worth it? I’ve played the whole “Into the Storm” series and loved it!

    1. The game is good so far, literally about to be our real life future. The only other game I’ve played from Quantic Dream was Beyond: Two Souls and I thought that was great as well. Also, I assume you mean the Life is Strange games, I’ve only played the first one and I liked it too.
