I FINALLY, unfortunately, completed Forspoken…

Forspoken
Frey (Awakening) VS. Cuff – Forspoken (June 22, 2024)

Many, many, years ago… I saw the trailer for Forspoken, at the time I thought the game was going to be a masterpiece, then everyone finally got their hands on the game and nobody was happy. I waited for a sale, like a smart person does, but not truly listening to anybody. I wanted to try this potential masterpiece myself, but alas, I should have heeded their words…

So, finally… After three long months, I have powered my way through such a terrible game… Why? I needed to get my $20 worth, but the game was so bad I had to keep leaving and coming back to it. I’m sorry Tanta Frey, I tried my best…

Forspoken got so bad, that I literally put everything I possibly could on automattic. Everything wasn’t all bad though, because get this, somehow or another, while the game was getting worse, the music was getting better, which completely caught me off guard, because it’s so weird for something like that to occur, but there is even more, the last boss was actually good!

I had to suffer all the way to Chapter 12, the last chapter of the game, to finally get some decent story and action. I couldn’t believe it… Not only that, but the In Tanta we Trust DLC, yes I played that as well, still trying to get my money’s worth, was also actually good. Why in the world didn’t they do what they did at the very end of the game, through the entire game? We will never know…

Anyway, I finally finished this madness, skipping all the side missions of course, because as y’all already know, I’m not about that life. I never really rate games on a scale, but I’d rate Forspoken a 1.5/5 with the 0.5 coming from the end of the game, which is sad…
