Dragon’s Dogma 2 is releasing later this month and I never even heard of the game series until my friend, Xman145, kept mentioning the greatness of the first game.
“The game is fun bro, I used to drop hurricanes and meteors on the city, back in the day, for no reason.” – Xman145 (March 7, 2024)
So, I finally bought the game, after catching a Steam sale, to see what all the nonsense was about for myself.
I started up Dragon’s Dogma and immediately noticed the age of the game, but as I played through the prologue and began to create my own character my mindset started to quickly shift.
The game has more character customization options than everything made in the last 10 years.
After playing with my newly created character, it wasn’t oh the game is looking a little too old, it was now was this game really made in 2012?
Dragon’s Dogma had to be ahead of its time, I’m over here going Ezio on the city rooftops.
I literally only played between the first two areas so far and was like, this is it, I can stop right here the game is a 10/10.
Only thing is, I can’t stop anymore…
