Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections recently released a new trailer showing off some of the never before seen story with the older Naruto and Sasuke.
I have no idea how they got to said point, but it seems Sasuke has once again turned to his old ways or Naruto is being controlled by some unknown force. Those couple of seconds worth of cutscenes is by far more interesting than the entirety of the Boruto anime series, which is an absolute disappointment.
Say what you will about Connections too. I agree, but I believe it’s starting to look like what Storm 4 should have originally been.
CyberConnect2 is also no stranger to adding their own little story over the course of the Storm Series. Just think about Storm 3 for a second. That game has the best boss fight I ever seen in my life, Hero and Avenger.
Make no mistake, in the anime Naruto and Sasuke didn’t even fight at that point, they only clashed for a few seconds, but in Storm 3, I don’t know who was in charge, but they completely absolutely went Creative God Mode on that section and it worked!
Which brings me to the reason I say they may have done it again. Because that Connections cutscene makes me feel like it’s a Hero and Avenger moment.
