I originally wrote an article near the end of 2024 expressing my excitement for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2, but my opinions have completely shifted.
The more I see of the game the more I think this could have just been a $19.99 expansion pack to the first game, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles.
CyberConnect2 just keeps dropping the ball, they are literally advertising features like they are new, but they should have been in the first game, because they have been in the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Series for over a decade now!
The Hinokami Chronicles was a great game, but it also failed in so many areas and it seems like nothing can live up to the legacy of Ultimate Ninja Storm Series or am I just getting old?
I literally go back and play these old GOATs and still be in shock at how such a thing was created, but it seems like the magic has been lost somewhere down the line with newer titles such as The Hinokami Chronicles 2…
