After my time with Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, I decided to jump back to Yakuza: Like a Dragon because I was already in the midst of a playthrough before the latter game was released.
I began again in the middle of Chapter 6: Ignition and the chapter is absolutely ridiculous…
Battle after battle, huge map after huge map, the save points are so far from each other, always worrying if you’re going to die and jump two or three maps backwards.
Everytime I made it to the next staircase I was begging for the nightmare to be over, but it just kept going and going.
I managed to get through without death, but had it happened I would have honestly probably called it quits and dropped the game…
I’m normally a story mode difficulty guy these days, but this game has no difficulty settings and as many of you also know, I don’t like wasting time fooling around with pointless side missions trying to level up.
Say what you will, but these are my thoughts after currently playing through that section and so far it honestly has been the worst part of the game. If more of the same is to follow, I don’t think I’ll be able to finish a Yakuza game for the first time in my life…
