I have no idea where I’ve been, but after ages, it seems we finally got the first round of DLC for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO.
I don’t care about any of the other characters, the only one I had my eyes on was Beast Gohan, cough, I mean Gohan (Beast) a call back to his legendary Super Saiyan 2 transformation.
For some, no new form of Gohan can ever capture their hearts, as the raw potential of his teenage Ascended Saiyan form along with tragic Future Gohan has literally become legends.
We never did see his full power for various reasons causing conspiracies to run rampant on how strong he truly was at the time.
We’ve also been stuck with a weak, sorry Gohan, from through last half of Dragon Ball Z and definitely throughout Dragon Ball Super and that has made many fans just lose interest with the character.
I have to say in Sparking! ZERO though, playing as Beast Gohan against Perfect Cell literally gave me similar vibes for sure, it’s nice to have a serious present day Gohan, and with the Beast personality he may honestly become part of the legend.
