The laptop… Was not cutting it! I was in the middle of college and needed more power. I was young and dumb and went to Best Buy to buy said POWER. Well, I got played… The new laptop was indeed more powerful than the predecessor, but as time went on and my digital skills improved, it quickly became underpowered.
So, as to not repeat previous mistakes, I went on a long YouTube journey learning the art of building a desktop pc. After weeks of research and months of buying pieces one at a time, I finally had all the parts, and finally had ALL THE POWER!!!
I built my pc 5 years ago and it’s still going strong. I’m literally writing this article on it as we speak. I edited 100s of videos, made various instrumental songs, and 3 different games in Unreal Engine 5, on a gtx 1060, imagine!
The only thing I ever had to replace was my power supply, because it went out 2 years back. I’m also technically 3 generations behind on my gpu. I’ll upgrade one day… Maybe?
