Last night when I arrived home, I navigated to YouTube, to check what’s new in the world, only to quickly realize the Subscription tab on the Homepage was nowhere to be seen, in its place the stupid Shorts button, like let’s be real nobody watches Shorts, just stop…
I got so upset I was ready to swear off YouTube forever, reason being is that these companies, Google, are trying to go recommendation based which is just so stupid to me, just let me see stuff from newest to oldest, this is also the reason I’m never really on social media.
Just a few months ago YouTube got rid of the Trending list, I’ll never forgive them for that, the site has never been the same…
Apparently the Subscription tab wasn’t technically “removed” but combined on the Sidebar with many people not knowing you could click it to take to the page you wanted to get too, but users claim it was indeed completely removed for a short time.
These moves are just completely diabolical… The damage to Creators will be unheard of if they continue down this path. It’s just plain manipulation at this point, has been for years, so we watch “what they want us to see” and I am getting sick of it…
