I’ve recently just completed Chapter One: Heaven Has No Pier, in Where Winds Meet and so far the game has been a masterpiece. It could potentially run for Game of the Year in my eyes, just off Chapter One alone, though Everstone Studios was just shy of the cutoff point, and I still can’t believe this game is free to play.
The last half of Chapter One basically turned into a movie, from battling Yi Dao (Killerblade), low key my teacher by this point, to battling my evil love interest Qianye the Witch, who has a crazy demonic transformation, who also killed Ruby, basically my sister, and also Yi Dao…
To top all of that off, I’m still finding new mechanics, like I literally just found out you somewhat fly, like at this point, what doesn’t this game have?
Where Winds Meet literally made me come out of retirement on YouTube, if that isn’t saying anything, I don’t know what will.
