With Animal Crossing: New Horizons Ver.3.0 Update just two months away, another contender has entered the space, Pokémon Pokopia.
The game has you transverse a post-apocalyptic environment as you play as Ditto transformed into a human to start picking up the pieces to restore some sense of civilization.
To be honest I’m way more interested in the story leading up to that point, they should have made a game over that storyline instead because something absolutely wild had to have happened.
Pokopia looks enormous though and this may have been why Nintendo was in an uproar over Palworld because they had this game on the back burner.
“Whether you’re a cozy crafter, a grounded green thumb, or a nurturing neighbor, there’s no shortage of exciting activities and roles to play in Pokémon Pokopia,” said Pokémon.
I think Nintendo may have made a critical mistake because the game is launching on Nintendo Switch 2 despite millions of people still playing on the first Nintendo Switch.
