A few weeks ago, I was playing through Kena: Bridge of Spirits for the first time, on story mode difficulty of course and currently in the midst of uploading the play through on my youtube channel. The game was released in 2021 and it’s a masterpiece, just so you know.
So, there is a challenge section in the upper part of the village. I didn’t do all of them, because I normally skip side content all together these days, but that’s for another story. Anyway there was this one mission that haunted my soul for a few days.
Rusu Falls (Target Practice). Pretty straightforward, except for this one bonus objective in the challenge, Swift Victory: Complete the trial within one minutes. I kept going like 1 second over and was losing my mind. I gave up, tried again a few days later and finally hit the 1 minute time frame, but I actually didn’t. The true time was like 01:00:057 or something. I hit around that time frame a few times and I was like bruh… Isn’t this supposed to be story mode difficulty? Give me a break…
My completionist side started to unlock after years of being hidden. I finally got lucky and beat it at 00:59:040, but there’s no telling how many times I ran the course. Even though it was frustrating, I did have fun with it.
