The last Resident Evil game I played was Resident Evil 3 (2020) remake and I still need to play Resident Evil 4 (2023) remake. Now if you haven’t noticed, those games are all third person as I didn’t really care for the first person titles because I despise first person games and discussed it a ton on this website.
Anyways, when I recently saw the first trailer for Resident Evil Requiem, I was very impressed, but that excitement faded, when I noticed it was going to be another first person title, but watching the Creators’ Message video explaining more about the game, it was revealed that there is going to be a third person option at launch, so I’m sold!
Why didn’t they do such a thing far earlier? I’ll never understand…
So this time around, I will gladly join y’all, in Grace Ashcroft’s horrific journey, when Resident Evil Requiem releases February 27, 2026!
