Navigating maps are ABSOLUTELY ridiculous – Resident Evil: Revelations

Resident Evil: Revelations
Jill Valentine (Episode 1) – Resident Evil: Revelations (October 5, 2024)

I think I’m just getting old and I think I’m losing my patience with age…

I’ve been coming to my website to rant lately as I really have no one to talk to about these things, but I’m not going to lie, I’m not as smart as the rest of the world… I need a map, I need map markers, I need WAYPOINTS!

All of this started as I was playing Resident Evil: Revelations, yes, was, add that to the drop list, that’s getting a little long this year, because I got all the way to Episode 3, I finished it and as always, I was like I’m through. I wasn’t even three hours into the game yet.

The first two episodes weren’t bad at all, I actually enjoyed them, but as soon as you hit Episode 3, I noticed things started to get longer and as the game went on it started to get more complex, the map started to get bigger, combined with backtracking, a holographic map, no waypoints, and boss that about killed me on easy mode, I literally had to call it quits.

I think I’m dumber than a few years ago, because I played the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes and yes they are very similar to Revelations, don’t get me wrong, but I remember feeling like I had a way easier time with them.
