I’m getting off topic before I even start the article, but the last musou game I played was One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 and to be honest I like Pirate Warriors 3 better.
Anyways, Dynasty Warriors: Origins looks like a literal movie. I don’t know any of the characters as I never played the previous games, but the fact is the game has caught my attention.
We are in the midst of war, as with any game that starts that way, other than Call of Duty, the story mode seems like it may be very interesting.
As for the mechanics, I hope they don’t put that unbreakable shield foolishness that takes seven hours to break through like in Pirate Warriors 4, which literally made me hate the game…
Dynasty Warriors: Origins releases January 16, 2025, let’s hope it lives up to the hype!
