Don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about those horrible anime opening or ending songs. I’m talking about the instrumental soundtrack playing during the show. Why does it hit so hard and why am I even asking this question?
Well, I was listening to my library going down the road and a song I haven’t listened to in a while came on and I was like why does this music always hit so hard?
The song in question was from The Heroic Legend of Arslan, released in 2015, called Aishūiro no Chiheisen by Taro Iwashiro, but this is just one of the many cases, so I asked AI…
Emotional resonance: The music is often closely tied to the anime’s themes and characters, mirroring their struggles, triumphs, and emotions. This creates a strong connection between the music and the viewer, making the music resonate on a deeper level. – Gemini (February 18, 2024)
This was one of the many answers it gave and it hit home the most, but even though that makes sense it still doesn’t make sense, if you know what I mean.
Music in our American TV shows is absolutely terrible, even music from kdrama’s hits harder than us, so I guess it really does make sense seeing that people can’t remember the last good American show they watched, but can recommend 100 different Anime with the entire story and characters memorized.
