I made Rimuru Tempest in Blender

For my second humanoid model and with my growing skillset, I decided to model one of my favorites, Rimuru Tempest.

To be honest, at one point I wanted to make a game about That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime in Unreal Engine, but at the time I couldn’t find all the necessary models and my skill set was half of what it is currently.

I actually made his Slime version first as the process was similar to Ditto.

Then I went on to make his human form and I have to say, it’s honestly the best 3D Model I’ve made to date. It’s not accurate or perfect, but I am pretty proud of it.

It took like 3 days to make what you saw in the images.

I redid the hair like 3 times, in which for the first time I discovered the knife tool, which honestly would have helped me ages ago.

I made the scarf and wanted to split it in half, still haven’t figured that out yet, only a matter of time though.

I modeled his hand from the reference image, but I didn’t detach the fingers similar to Itachi’s cloak. I’m sure it’s possible, once again, only a matter of time.

I made an armature as I did with the previous models and the automatic weight paint really did its job this time. Everything was smooth and I even animated somewhat of a fighting pose.
