Steam Year in Review 2023 is here and below are the Top 3 games I played according to them. To make it interesting and more relevant I’m just rehashing my Steam Reviews mostly to give y’all a sense of how I was feeling at the time I played said game.
#3: Final Fantasy XV (Replay)
Official Release: November 29, 2016
Completed: January 4, 2023
Steam Review (January 6, 2023): Story? Certainly! Sidequests? Only if you have nothing better to do… Lol!
#2: Scarlet Nexus
Official Release: June 25, 2021
Completed: January 13, 2023
Steam Review (January 19, 2023): I honestly have mixed feelings about this one. It was interesting, but felt as if it dragged on way too long.
The bond episodes were just an unnecessary time waster.
Certain enemies were an absolute pain to deal with, even on easy mode, and they show up for majority of the game.
You start beginning to ask yourself, how is it not over yet…?
#1: Black Desert
Official Release: December 14, 2014
I didn’t have a Steam review for Black Desert, but there is no lie here, I burned a lot of time in this game during the beginning of the year. I’ve played it a tad over the years, but 2023 is indeed the year I played it the most as it currently holds the spot as my second most played game of all time on Steam.
