At the beginning of the week, I wrote an article called, Where Winds Meet is shaping up to be the BIGGEST game launch of the week, if not the month, I have to admit, I am absolutely blown away.
How is this game even real? You start, welcomed to a screen with a baby strapped to your chest, walking through a hurricane with jamming chinese style music playing, then various interactive cutscenes, a boss fight and montage of said baby growing up, turns out it’s you, creating your beautiful character, I literally just used one of presets because they look amazing, and then you are finally set free upon the world.
Before I knew it, I was already six hours into the game just roaming around, triple jumping everywhere, yes triple jumping! Solo mode, Multiplayer mode, battling with the Sword and Umbrella, my favorite weapons so far, and trying to figure out what on earth is going on with Where Winds Meet and just enjoying it!
Not only that, but there’s a story mode difficulty, who would have thought I’d be so happy over something like that, this day in age. I’m running the game at max settings on a GTX 1060 and to top that off it’s free to play, just absolutely insane!
