Why did Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 get Goku (Super Saiyan 4) (DAIMA) before DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO?

Goku (Super Saiyan 4) (DAIMA) – Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (May 20, 2025)

About a month ago we got Dragon Ball DAIMA: Character Pack 1 for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, which featured the kid versions of everyone, except something was noticeably missing, Goku’s brand new Super Saiyan 4 design, not that I’m fond of it compared to the original, but still.

So, call me shocked when Bandai announces that not only is his new design coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, but the adult version of the design, tomorrow, in let’s not forget, a nine year old, grinding horror show of a game…

I’m sure we’ll eventually get the character in DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, in about 100 years at this rate, but I got to say this was such a missed opportunity on Bandai’s part, they are literally throwing money into the fire.

According to DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO’s Season Pass Steam Store Page though we can expect more DAIMA characters, which seems to already have been pushed back with a timeframe between July and September with September being more likely at this point.
